Martial Arts: 7-13 Years
The Junior programme is martial arts designed to teach our students about leadership (in particular personal leadership) and decision making.
The junior programme is the beginning of our formal Jujitsu training.
At South East Self Defence we understand that there are all kinds of minds. Our syllabus has been written to take into account those who have learning difficulties as well as those who pick things up quicker, for those who have physical issues and those who were born “physically hooked up”.
“Students in our Junior class will learn, self defence, anti bullying, conflict resolution, goal setting, striking, grappling and throwing. Life skills like respect, confidence, teamwork, emotional resilience, delayed gratification and much more.”
Sensei Allan Waddell
Juniors need structure, guidance , positive role modelling, and of course fun. Testing is based on the students individual progress and is relevant to their grade
